Our Food

Our two chefs Martin Williams and Greg Simon cook some of the best pub food in the area with locally sourced produce, our butcher is Mike Doig of Kidsgrove, who provides some of the finest and freshest meats in the area and our greengrocer is Morning Fresh of Tunstall who supply us with top quality vegetables and fresh bread daily.

All our meals are homemade we endeavour to offer great food at affordable prices, with a friendly service and great beers. Obviously good freshly cooked food takes time and we recommend anyone who dines with us not to be in a hurry, but we are sure you will be glad you waited when your food reaches your table.

Our Beers

Wade (The Landlord) is a fan of Real Ale and takes a great pride in his beers, we currently have five Real Ales, two rotating Guest Ales along with regular favourites such as, Marston's Burton Bitter, Marston's Pedigree and Jennings Cockerhoop. We have recently obtained the Cask Marque seal of approval for the quality of our Real Ales, our final inspection went really well with all of our beers scoring full marks
